Rear Bumber Protection (M Sport)
Hey Folks,
I am thinking of protecting rear bumber, and in particular, the glossy black piano part of it (see photo attached). Has anyone applied PPF to it or maybe there are any other a bit cheaper options? Or maybe it is not worth caring at all? I am just thinking that after some time the glossy black plastic will look not that great. |

Thanks for sharing the link, but this thing covers the upper side, in front of the trunk door. I am asking about the glossy bumber part below (highlighted on the photo)

3 ways I see you being able to protect the part you mean.
Have it wrapped in a clear film by a professional. Have it clear coated by a painter. Buy the replacement part when it starts to look bad. Personally I would replace the part when it starts to look bad. In truth, by the time when you need to replace the part you'll be ready to sell the car. - Just my opinion. |

I left mine as is for rear bumper actually, as I'm usually the main guy getting stuff from the trunk. I only applied those protection films under the exterior door handles as my family has habit of jamming the fingers into the area. Then also some film to go over the center console area. |
