Relay attacks.
Do the new BMW keys switch off after a period of no movement so the key signal cannot by boosted by some fancy technology the scum use to steal comfort access equipped cars?
My X1 is locked away in my garage and my house is electronically gated so it’s fairly secure but just curious to know how the key works when I’m out and about. I currently have it set to unlock when I walk to the car and lock when I walk away from the car with the chirp activated. |
