Is real leather available?
Does anyone know if the X2 be ordered in the US with real leather? Not thrilled with the vegan or Alcantara seats.
BMW is doing individual colors. Are they also doing individual interiors? |

I specifically ordered Alcantara for driving in brutally cold weather like Chicago.(as well as Upstate NY and Vermont) It doesn't feel cold when getting into the car on a cold morning, compared to SensaTec or real leather that I had on previous seats.
But cars are very personal things, no two people like the same things. If you want real leather, I guess you'll have to find another car because I'm pretty sure that real leather isn't available on the 2023 and 2024 X1 and X2. (don't get me wrong, I do love real leather... I don't wear anything else in winter... my friends think I have a real leather jacket fetish for the last 40+ years, probably because they say my close with over 30 genuine leather jackets collected over the years) |

we here in the US are almost like the unwanted stepchildren in the eyes of the German car manufacturers.(yes, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Porsche) A lot of common options and models available to every other country is never offered in the US. It's only going to get worse and worse because for the German manufacturers, the US market is becoming relatively smaller than other markets.

Not to mention gasoline prices keep going down. Premium gas has been at its lowest price in my area since 2010. It was only $2.89 per gallon at my local Costco 3 days ago. I believe that's around 0.76 euros per liter. On top of that, my xDrive28i achieved the highest MPG I have ever seen since April. On my road trip a couple of days ago, I got 40.5mpg(5.8 L/100km) during most of the trip! |

0.76 euro/liter….we’re currently at 1.6 euro/liter 🥲 just last year we reached a high of 2.8 euro/liter (although this hasn’t been an issue for me since I got the iX1 🥳 Being bored at work today, I was configuring an i5 M60 and it came to 118,500 euro. The same one in the US cost 90,000 euro 🥲🥲 |

Since it's offered in other markets, there's a possibility you can go through BMW Individual to spec one with leather seats.
