Of course! The demand for EV's and utility scale battery projects is what is driving the death rate. Anyone who supports the Green Insanity, leftists and the gullible, have no issue with stacking the bodies.

Guilt free cobalt must be (n)ICE. Around half of new Teslas make use the cobalt free battery tech of LFP. So in their eyes you are the body stacker with your cobalt based refined gas.

LOL, so you got nothing. Funny thing about the left, they always project onto others what they are doing to the 10th power.

I wouldn't get to excited yet. In the RC industry we have had LiFe batteries for a long time and now almost no one uses them anymore. Issue is high failure rate after too few cycles. They were mostly used to power transmitters and receivers because they were safer but LiPo still the choice for racing. Also increase in internal resistance and related drop in output voltage. My company no longer carries them.

I'm not even remotely on the left Also, just an FYI, millions have died over the last hundred years as we have fought wars over oil. Cobalt is a niche concern over how many have perished over fossil fuels. But, many are concerned over the DRG and work is being done to reduce the human toll over cobalt mining. We do not live in a perfect world.

Being on the left myself, I have never once spew the EV propaganda or agree on EV, there are a billion things that can be done, but not because most of them don't have a financial incentive, if anything the green grift is ran by the top 1%, and its crosses political boundaries.

Your point on the green grift is well taken. I have always been an environmentalist and it bothers me to know end that we are being so manipulated by people with an agenda that has little to do with saving the planet. |

Imagine simping so hard for the US government, which is what Tesla is.
13% of the stock market is owned by 99% of people - the other 86% is the mega rich, including the the government. They pick winners and losers - and they hand picked Tesla. The choice laws, tax breaks, free advertising, and of course - HUGE investing windfalls. From SpaceX, to Twitter (also owned by the government under the guise of a private service) and Tesla. They all exist to solve a problem created by the government. Tesla is cheap, ans simple - has great tracking and monitoring capabilities, limited use outside of the urban areas. It’s literally their wet dream. And people here fall for it hook line and sinker.

Another EV got out of control just like HAL in 2001 a space odyssey, tried to kill it's driver by acceleration when brake pedal was pressed.

This is just USA trucks, not cars and not the rest of the world and not utility scale battery storage anywhere.
The electric short haul port truckers trying to meet mandates have already said it is impossible and they will go bankrupt. EV is 2 trips a day and done versus 5 a day with ICE. |
