The Tesla Supercharger network is opening up to other EVs. But charging costs extra for outsiders.
Tesla is charging owners of other EVs roughly 35% more per kilowatt-hour (kWh), according to rates listed on the company's app. Supercharging rates vary widely by location and time of day (some stations offer lower prices during off-peak hours), so that's just a ballpark.
At some locations, we observed a premium of closer to 37%, while at others it was as low as 23% during off-peak hours. However, Tesla is also offering a $12.99-per-month membership that grants other EV owners the same pricing that Tesla drivers get. That may be worth it, depending on how much one plans to Supercharge.

Just the other day my gas station told me I would have to pay 20 cents a gallon more unless I bought their membership.
You join the wrong club I only go to Shell gas stations for fill up because I am a CAA member and they charge me 4 cents less per L.

The reason they are dying like fly's is EV auto demand. So your saying if you use anything with cobalt, it's OK if they die mining for your EV.

Sure.

Of course! The demand for EV's and utility scale battery projects is what is driving the death rate. Anyone who supports the Green Insanity, leftists and the gullible, have no issue with stacking the bodies.

Guilt free cobalt must be (n)ICE. Around half of new Teslas make use the cobalt free battery tech of LFP. So in their eyes you are the body stacker with your cobalt based refined gas.

LOL, so you got nothing. Funny thing about the left, they always project onto others what they are doing to the 10th power.

I wouldn't get to excited yet. In the RC industry we have had LiFe batteries for a long time and now almost no one uses them anymore. Issue is high failure rate after too few cycles. They were mostly used to power transmitters and receivers because they were safer but LiPo still the choice for racing. Also increase in internal resistance and related drop in output voltage. My company no longer carries them.

I'm not even remotely on the left Also, just an FYI, millions have died over the last hundred years as we have fought wars over oil. Cobalt is a niche concern over how many have perished over fossil fuels. But, many are concerned over the DRG and work is being done to reduce the human toll over cobalt mining. We do not live in a perfect world.

A few of the guys on my boat forum are LiFePo fanboys. They use them to replace the starting and house batteries. They'll be pretty pissed if they fail early considering the price of them.

To be fair, at no point gblansten has shown indications to be on the left

Being on the left myself, I have never once spew the EV propaganda or agree on EV, there are a billion things that can be done, but not because most of them don't have a financial incentive, if anything the green grift is ran by the top 1%, and its crosses political boundaries.

gblansten suffers from carrying the weight of the EV world on his shoulders. Seems like he knows what he wants and an 1000hp EV meets his needs.
Your point on the green grift is well taken. I have always been an environmentalist and it bothers me to know end that we are being so manipulated by people with an agenda that has little to do with saving the planet.

You are right to note that the Green Insanity isn't about Green, it is about power. It is, however, almost the exclusive club of the left.

Bang on, everyone wants clean water and air. The absurdity involved with current emission laws has nothing to do with that.

No suffering here. Went for a run after work. Took a backroad home where I could let the car rip safely for a few seconds. So much fun.

Imagine simping so hard for the US government, which is what Tesla is.
13% of the stock market is owned by 99% of people - the other 86% is the mega rich, including the the government.

They pick winners and losers - and they hand picked Tesla. The choice laws, tax breaks, free advertising, and of course - HUGE investing windfalls. From SpaceX, to Twitter (also owned by the government under the guise of a private service) and Tesla. They all exist to solve a problem created by the government.

Tesla is cheap, ans simple - has great tracking and monitoring capabilities, limited use outside of the urban areas. It’s literally their wet dream. And people here fall for it hook line and sinker.

Another EV got out of control just like HAL in 2001 a space odyssey, tried to kill it's driver by acceleration when brake pedal was pressed.

This is just USA trucks, not cars and not the rest of the world and not utility scale battery storage anywhere.

The electric short haul port truckers trying to meet mandates have already said it is impossible and they will go bankrupt. EV is 2 trips a day and done versus 5 a day with ICE.
