Windshield wiper noise

Does anyone else's windshield wiper makes a lot of noise or is it just me?

Mine make no more noise than any other car I’ve owned.

Mine was making more noise than usual during a storm. I think it was because I had tree wax on the front windshield. When I first got the car it was butter.

But some days it’s better. So I think it was the wax.

Try cleaning the blades and any debris especially the wax and see if still makes noises.

Rain started pouring just hours after I took delivery of my X1 back in April. The wipers were okay, but there was some streaking.(probably from whatever the dealer used when they were prepping/detailing the car that morning)

I always clean the windshield and wipers myself and never had a problem.

that guy is my favourite auto detailer on YouTube... best of all, he's in Canada!

although I watch his videos in moderation, like once every few weeks at most... because they cause me to spend way too much time on washing, rinsing, cleaning, polishing, buffing, drying, conditioning, vacuuming, dusting, coating, caressing(!), wiping or other stuff on my cars.

He’s amazing! Always clear, very thought out and makes difficult things easier to do.
But you’re right, I’ve spent too much time detailing because of him and too much money on the products, too!

I have none of these products at home LOL. Will try to pick them up when the roads are safe to travel, too much snow already 😁

pretty much most window cleaners will do... just make sure they are ammonia free.

I wouldn't mind getting a couple of inches of nice snow. My area has not seen any snow for 2 years and 1 month!

maybe I'll have to borrow my friend's 4Runner and go to Canada for a weekend!

Will try that, thanks! Yeah, if you like snow that'd be a good way spend your weekend
