For M-Sport grills, you would mark that you have active shutters in the lower grill with a measurement of 3 1/2”.

I installed this about 3 months ago. I haven’t had any problems. You don’t have to mash the pedal to go quick. There are 4 levels to set the sensitivity.

Is there a dog guard for the 2023 model? Had one in the 2018 X1.

Also looking for a rear bumper guard to keep from scratching it. Had an aluminum one on my 2018 that worked well and looked good. Found that one on Ebay.

Not filling the warning triangle “hole” in the plastic trim on the tail gate is really annoying, but I found that a spare one I had from a 22 Golf R fitted just fine.

I’ve found this part number for a dog guard 51475A91087. I’ve been told by one dealer (in the Uk) that it fits both hybrid and ICE U11s. My dealership has ordered one and I’m waiting for it to come in to check (we have a 30e)

I’m also on the lookout for a rear bumper guard - this looks nice Luxshield Car Bumper Protector Set for BMW X1 U11 https://amzn.eu/d/9LHnoeJ - does anyone have any experience of these?

That looks pretty secure. Better than the one in my '18 X1.

No probs, glad it was useful, the guard has hooks that fit under the bars in the back of the seat, hard to describe in text but if you zoom in on the vertical bars you can kinda see what I mean. The feet then adjust up with screws to tighten and create a secure fit.

We’ve got a soft bed down and the guard is on top of that, the instructions say to fit the guard then any boot cover but it seems to be ok - will just keep an eye on the tightness of the bolts over time.

It’s the OEM BMW liner, got the dealer to include in the deal.

The soft mat on top is a pet bed that my wife got from a UK pet store to go on top, fits pretty much perfectly. I can get the details if anyone wants them.

Dog hair is from a yellow lab puppy 😋

FYI, the OEM boot liner from my 2018 X1 seems to fit just fine in the new one.
