By door lock pins, do you mean the button that sticks up from the door trim that you push down or pull up to lock or unlock the door?

Interesting. I assume the button is redundant and you can just unlock using the inside handle. Come to think of it now, I think I've seen some other cars where those are no longer used.

Yeah, probably losing relevance. I noticed most cars on the street today didn’t have lock pins. I like that they provide a visual indicator of which doors are locked, but can live without them. The door panel stitching I can also live without. Since the dash and upper door are stitched, it doesn't look too bad. Would be nice if they kept the door sills, glovebox light and spare tire (for M Sport), though!

The door lock pins, other than being a visual indicator of the lock status, is only good for pinching people’s arms when they have it resting on the sill. I have one friend who does this and it’s happened in pretty much every car I owned that had door pins lol.

Some vehicles might be enroute

For those of you waiting for a vehicle in Sweden, UK and East Coast USA, the Don Pasquale departed Bremerhaven today (Nov 11th) around 4:00 p.m. local.

From what I can tell, that's probably one of the first Wallenius line vessels to depart for USA ports after MY 24 X1 production started leaving the factory. It's possible other companies had vessels leaving but I think Wallenius is the main one used.

Scheduled stops include Gothenburg, Zeebrugge, Southampton, New York, Savannah, Brunswick, and Charleston.

If previous timelines are anything to go by, those who have vehicles on that vessel "should" see their status turn to in transit in about 3 days or so.

I assume by the silence that nobody's status has changed to in transit yet?

I'm approaching 2 weeks at the port and by my count, three ships have left heading for Brunswick since the vehicle has been at the port.

Based on some other discussions I've seen it could be 3 to 4 weeks if not more before the vehicle gets on a ship.

Good news. I know yours was built before mine but yours was stuck at waiting carrier assignment .What date did your status flip to at the port? Did it just flip from waiting carrier assignment to in transit or did it show up at the port on a certain date?

What's your destination port and did you find out what vessel it's assigned to?

It flipped to at port maybe 5 days ago! It didn't sit for long. It's being shipped to the west coast and it's on the Pleiades leader!

I checked their schedule and it should arrive at USA port by mid December so you should have it before the end of the year.

Still at Port according to web site and genius. Others heading to the east coast have been waiting 4-5 weeks per some other forum discussions.

Mine flipped to "in transit" today also, heading for the West Coast
It is on the Garnet Leader.
The boat is currently on the North Sea, smooth sailing so far.
