X2 U10 - Retrofit and Mods

Hello there!

Am waiting on delivery for my U10 in about 1-2 months! Just wondering if anyone here has taken delivery of their ride? And tried the following retrofit / mods?

1. Black or Wing Mirror Caps (is it the same fitment as X1 U11?)

2. Retrofitting the M-Spoiler?

3. Retrofitting the M-grille with the horizontal slats/bars?

4. Stock wheels are V-Spoke 873M, with 245/20/45 rubbers - however the fitment just look so bad. even with this wheel/tyre profile, it looks like the wheels are set in by an inch from the body. Like a huge elephant on skinny legs. Has anyone gone ahead to change them out - what are your rim/tyre profiles?

Curious!!

Can't speak for the rest of your questions, but for wheels I'm running 19x8.5" ET32 wheels. The thread I started is Here

Thanks for the reply! I was referring to the X2 U10 though.

The X2 wheels seem to "sit in" a lot more compared to X1.

Well, I specifically went with ET32 to push them out towards the fender more, before that they sat in rather deep. As it is now they are about flush with the top of the fender. stock offset was ET50, so 18mm(.7") difference.

According to the technical data on the BMW website, both the X1 and the X2 have the same width. I can't imagine they changed the track for what is basically the same car under the sheetmetal, so the fitment is probably the same.

Thanks for the heads up on the wheels!

Will take a closer study when I land my hands on the ride!

I heard the opposite. I can’t remember which YouTube reviewer talked about it, but he mentions that the mirrors are identical
