M35i MAF sensor

Hi all,

In talks with burgertuning about their intake, they are asking for a photos of the sensor and the hole, I would provide but my car won’t be ready to pick up until Saturday. If anyone is willing to remove their MAF sensor and take photos of the sensor and hole, they can provide an intake for this trim that is guaranteed to fit.

Thanks in advance!

I ordered one for the existing transverse engines that I am 99% sure will fit. Hoping it will fit but if you hear otherwise from burger I would very much appreciate you reporting back.

See side by side photo of the M35 engine bay (bottom) and the photo from the burger website (top). Everything seems consistent including MAF location. But of course it is possible the sensor itself changed.

Here’s the link as well for the one I ordered: https://burgertuning.com/products/bm...s-f40-1-series

My car is still far out with this stop sale so sadly I can’t provide what you need but hopefully this is helpful. Looking forward to hearing back confirmation from you.

I think they agree it’s a match but they want to double check the MAF sensor hole to make sure it will fit the current coupling.

I get the car back today so I’ll take a look and send it over to them.

Will report back when I hear something

Never hurts to be extra sure. For what it’s worth even the outside of the connector in the two photos looks very similar, I am hopeful!

If it checks out, this is likely the last thing I do to the car.

Having wheels mounted next weekend and putting the dashcam in this weekend.
