The pop-pop-pop tunes and exhaust notes are the whistle tips of today.

These are the same people who will call you a nazi fascist for not having 15 covid boosters or gender dysphoria.

You could guess the same might be true for motorcycle enthusiasts. Some people totally buy into the idea that louder bikes mean better safety like, making sure they're heard and not just seen. LOL

Guess the op hasn’t heard any recent M cars especially if they have M Performance exhaust.

After eating a really spicy Mexican, Indian or Asian meal the exhaust sounds from the exhaust of my Z4 hides the noise coming from me!

Yep, my F82 CS pops and burbles all over the place on Sport Plus with stock map and MPE. Love it.

How about an exhaust custom designed by an acoustical engineer to flow properly with a particular modified engine and altered output?

It's not factory. Gonna roll your eyes?

Settle down.

Is this on the market or just a hypothetical thing you are trying to do here?

I always thought loud cars were a form of compensation for small parts.

I always thought old bikes sounded cool loud, Kawasaki 900's, CBX...etc.

These loud popping turbo backfiring cars you crazy kids drive these days scare me LOL

Burble tunes are one thing... But I have an always will enjoy a well-engineered exhaust. The point is performance and sound.
If I were the last human on earth, I'd still want an aftermarket exhaust. Hell, half of the appeal of the e92 s65 powered M3 is the SOUND!
You only get to enjoy fast cars when you're going fast. You get to enjoy a great sounding car nearly all of the time.

Well, you can't have Schwabian Transhumanism take over post 2030 if there are still a lot of manly men left walking about.

So official looking studies are needed to convince the plebes.

Turn in your vulgar exhaust and show me your quaxxine pass, sir.

My F10 M5 is catless and muffler delete, resonators only, with BM3 stage 2 tune and it sounds great. Only time it pops is manual downshift, which is exactly what I did to a hellkitty with his window down yesterday. 🤣🤣🤣

Anything louder than factory stock/OEM is annoying.
