Best Third Party Warranty Companies

I'm almost @ 50k miles and I'm exploring options as far as extended warranties...I'm nervous to own this car out of warranty.

I got a quote from American Dream. It's around $4,000 for 3 / 36k miles. They're saying this is equivalent to the factory and has a $150 deductible.

I can cancel anytime and be refunded the prorated amount...

Anyone familiar with this company or have a different recommendation?

Knock on wood...haven't had any major issues yet with the car.

Thanks all

Your expected return is negative. On average you’ll lose money. How do I know? Extended warranties are priced to make money, usually a lot of money evidenced by how much commission is available to dealers.

Open an online savings account, and anytime you’re considering buying an extended warranty on anything, put that money in there instead. Anytime an out of warranty expense happens, use money from that account 10 years from now you’d be happy you did.

Sound advice…

My buddy called to tell me how great his wheel and tire package is. He has a new GTI.

He recently replaced a bent rim. Said the claim went smoothly.

Went to try replace a 2nd wheel. They offered to fix it not replace.

I think he said he paid $2,300 for wheels and tire package he said.

I was looking into this and found a company that made it sound like it is just like manufacturer's extended warranty but then they had a list of authorized repair facilities on their website. When I looked at the list it did not include any of the manufacturer authorized dealerships. So please make sure that you can have the repairs done at BMW authorized dealers and not some other network of repair shops. Hope this helps.

No kidding? I've had good luck with them so far. What was your experience like? I have a Zurich warranty on another vehicle and they've paid for everything so far so I would go with them again.
