Hi all got a new u11 x1 25e 2 weeks ago .
1st error was driver assistence restricted, dealer said see you in 4 weeks. and try wiping the cameras ,did that no joy.
2nd error this morning 2 weeks old ,now getting Component error service,said wipe the cameras and once again see you in 3 weeks.
The error comes on at start beeps and stops, but it closes off the main side screen completely. when i close it reappears so I cannot see the screen . any advise appreciated.

update I drove into another brach of the bmw dealer and they did it on the spot ,i still need to leave it in now o the 10th ,but happy its sorted now for my first long run this easter weekend

You can try a restart, press and hold down the volume roller for 30 seconds and the car will effectively re-boot. Other than that a component might have failed, it happens, shame the dealer can't get you in faster but that isn't abnormal time wise.
