If it drives anything like the current X2, then def hard pass, I will end up going for something in the Toyota family then.
No iX1 or iX2 in North America... unfortunately. However, the 2024.5 Mini Countryman will have a fully electric option - same platform.

The pros and cons...

I have been thinking about an X2M35i. I also think the new X1M35i is better looking from nearly all angles. However... I really like the Atlas Grey/Smoke White Bicolor perforated interior that is exclusive to the X2M35i. Very frustrating!!!

Might just explore the mini option then, the x2 ICE doesn’t get enough mpg for my liking on that price point. Would just get a fully PHEV from another manufacturer plus bmw has been cutting costs in ways most don’t appreciate

Purely subjective. Get Brooklyn gray if you like it.

I've gone for an X2 U10 to replace my old F48 X1. Will be sad to see it go, but excited for something new

Wasn't blown away by the colours available, but settled for Skyscraper Grey. Not sure when it'll be delivered yet, assuming August sometime.

Was surprised when I came here to see if there's any chat about it but really does not seem like it's very popular! Hopefully when people see them on the road/showrooms they might change their minds. I don't think it's as nice looking as the X3, but it's a million miles sharper/more aggresive/exciting looking than the F49 imo.

Me and my wife seriously considered it, but eventually went with the X4 for size and the maturity of G02.

BMW had a Vegas Red X2 at the Chicago auto show. It looks really good in person. Will need to check it out once they start arriving in dealerships. Was told they should arrive mid-March.

It still doesn’t look like a BMW to me, except the front end.

We went from X2 to X1 because we personally preferred the X2 in the old format and much prefer the X1 U11.

That said, I think colour, model and options make a huge difference to the look of it.
Some of the photos on this thread look pretty bad to me eyes, while others look much better.
Particularly the red one above.

So I think visual appeal is going to vary a great deal from car to car.

We've ordered one in Belgium a few weeks ago. Expected delivery date is early August.

It's an X2 sDrive 20i with some extra's. It's in M Brooklyn Grau with Premium Pack Pro, Comfort Pack, M Sport Pack Pro, heated steering weel, heated seats, rear privacy glass, ...

Looks like the first X2s have arrived at dealers. Several clips on YouTube.

Thanks for your X1 videos. Specifically, the video from Sep. 5, 2022 showing the 2023 BMW X1 xDrive28i Cape York Green.(screenshot below) That video was the reason I decided on the X1. (was 99% sure about the Cape York Green color and specs, but ended up with Space Silver with M Sport package )

If I ever move to Canada, I will definitely buy my next BMW from you!

Back in September 2023 have sold my Volvo XC40 and ordered the X1.
A month later when I saw in person the X2 immediately changed the order!
Some months later here we are with the X2 finally assembled some days ago and (maybe) expecting delivery next month in Greece.
The manual has been added in the application too.

Has anyone taken delivery of an X2 yet? I see pictures and videos of them in dealer showrooms all over Instagram and YouTube. The posts are from Canada and Europe.

No rear window wiper… two things of note: I got there early, thanks to a call from my fleet advisor, but by the time we got back to the dealership, there was a number of people waiting to see, drive, etc. I was told there were a surprising number of people coming in to see it. Second thing is the increase in interest rates, and not just for the X2. In December, an X1, or an ordered X2 would have been at 3.99% through BMWFS. Today, in late February, the rate is 5.29%. So, what was $840.00 per month is now $980 per month. This is for a loaded X2, but you still get the picture… I imagine the rates will drop again in a few months… FYI.
