Drive Train Error

After over 12 months of error free driving the car today gave me a serious drive train error message, I manage to limp into a lay-by on a busy road and stopped the car. Then it wouldn't recognise the digital keys on both phones! I rang a mate who is the service manager for BMW, he dialled into the car and said it was showing 136 error codes. Explained how to get the car to recognise the phone and I managed to drive home and await BMW Assist to come and pickup the car and drop off a loan car. I'll keep you all updated to what happens.

Put the phone in the front phone holder, and press the start/stop button fast 3 times.

**UPDATE** I've had a phone call off the dealer to say there was a software issue, two control units having the incorrect software, the remote receiver and the BCP (Battery Control Protocol). All has been updated and the car was collected on Friday morning.
