Stop sale on X1 (and alll other X, but X3) since mid of August 2024

As many of you already knew, there is currently stop sale on X1/X5/X7 as well as MINI since around 8/12 or so.

It is due to IBS recall.

I am currently in the market to buy 2024 X1, but all dealers I contacted so far said that they can sell it, but cannot delivery it even though it is sitting in their lot due to this stop sale.
New 2025 models, just delivered, are free from this stop sale as they already use the fixed IBS, but all pre-sold units are stuck because there is no sign of new IBS module delivered to any dealership yet.

This guy said that they have more than 70 pre-sold units, but cannot deliver them to customer.

I am in Austin/TX, none of the dealership nearby received any IBS to replace so far; some says around 2 weeks or no ETA.

Can we share stories if you are under this stop sale and any useful information to share, or any sign of release with new IBS replaced?

I also reserved one, 2024 X1 with premium package, with $1,000 refundable deposit. It is being transfered to the dealer's lot.
And, of course, it cannot be released unless IBS is replaced.

As long as new IBS is available, pre-sold one (like this one) has priority, according to the dealer.... But now I slightly regret that I took a hasty move.
I told my dealer that I would cancel my order if there is no sign of release by 9/20; and it looks like it cannot be resolved by then.

Now I am starting the new search for alternative brand so that I can go with other brand immediately after 9/20.

Never thought that buying a brand new BMW is so tough.
I could see lots of complaint are being filed up; simply because of the way BMW reacts to the customers; no words.

Let finger crossed.
Either ending up driving new X1, or driving other brand car on 9/21.

BLAZE 2024. I have the 2024 in Utah Orange with Premium package I picked up in late December 23. Assuming I understand correctly & you have not picked up the SAV yet, my option is that if you can get the 2025 version for the price you locked in for the 2024 with same package DO IT WITHOUT RESERVATION.
Because the 2024 is at the end of its yearly cycle while the 2025 has just come out & is actually the 3rd year of the 3rd generation.

At this point (October), I would consider getting a 2025 model-year vehicle...
