Auto PDC Failure

Hi chaps,

I've been greeted with an Auto PDC failure message this morning on my 3 week old 30e

Is the PDC module located in the boot? A quick google shows older models suffering with water ingress and a similar failure.

This message means that one of the parking sensors is not working (I had same issue on F48). It is true that water / snow can damaged some sensors. When you realized which sensor is faulty it is easy to change. If one of the parking sensors is not working PDC will not work as well.

Yes, you just need diagnostic for which one is the faulty. But is that covered in the bmw guarantee?

unless there's physical or water damage on the sensors caused by the owner/driver, why won't BMW repair or repair them under new car warranty? Or is it different in Europe?

I don't know. It happened to my car after the warranty was finished.
