Thanks for your prompt reply. Funny, the UK dealer I asked whilst looking at the iX1 they had in the showroom with its cables on the compartment, said the PHEV didn’t have such storage space and instead the floor was actually slightly higher with a ridge/slope up from the door opening to accommodate the PHEV battery.

We don’t carry any csbles in the car, we could if we were going somewhere overnight. But it’s sooooooo slow to charge the PHEV it’s almost pointless unless it’s overnight for the miles you get per charge.
So we leave the cable in the house and use the charger attached to the wall via a bracket. |
