Just to add to this, if you go to my garage on mybmw.com, track ur car then go down and hit the drop down menu for standard features, heated steering wheel and heated front seats is listed…

Just did this now, also noted that the "added options" still shows heated seats/steering though

so then by that logic, you also have opted to purchase that package, which would make sense why it shows as a "N/C" on the line item.

I am pretty sure the option is not a software option upgrade (at least not in it's entirety) and the only reason a few folks are seeing it as a N/C on their build sheets is because you've already opted for the package.

Unless I am mistaken and there are others who have not opted in for that option, and are still seeing the N/C on the line item.

I believe some who did not spec the option still saw seats as NC.

For what its worth, I did not purchase the heated seats and I do not see them listed under stand equipment (or any other location)

Yeah - I selected the option because I really didn't want there to be some mess-up where it actually was taken away from standard and then I didn't end up with heated seats. I signed the build sheet - but I'll negotiate to have the cost taken off (and the pro package price reduced) when I go in to take delivery.

I think this is a mix up and a misunderstanding, unless another member who did not opt in for the pkg is showing it as standard equipment.

If you opted in for the pkg, they will show the line item in addition to the pkg on the build sheet, however the pkg will show a price, and the line item will say "N/C" because they need to disclose what that pkg adds to the build.

So unless I'm misunderstanding the current synopsis of this discussion, it sounds like you get heated seats/steering only if you paid for them, which is why they show on our build sheets because we have opted in.

Agreed. But it does seem like at least one person has mentioned that they see it as standard after not ordering. At least the heated seats if not both.

I am seeing in my end on the garage/ tracker thing online that seats and steering heating are listed under standard features, separate from the options list where I also see it. But like you said this could be a similar symptom to what you see on a build sheet where they show as no cost because you have the package on there. Just weird they’d show in the standard section since in theory that stays as is no matter what options you’d add.

Someone posted an updated pricing guide which confirms the price seems to have been revised to $1100 for the m sport pro package.

The new guides also specify that the heated seats and steering are definitely not standard.
