I have been a Lifetime Platinum for last two decades and they have been sending me and probably everyone else these new offers for F1 events

Exactly!!! They never know the crowd that they will appear in front of so makes for an awkward meet.

I'm a member and choose Marriott because getting a two-bedroom with a kitchen is generally easy when booking our destinations. I don't engage in the points routine or receive any but the most general of communications from them.
Am I missing something; is there something waiting for me that I'm failing to notice, tune into, or get that's worth some effort on my part?

I think you misunderstood. Your posts were actually flagged on Bimmerpost as spam, as in other users see a message asking if it looks like spam or looks ok. Seems resolved now.

I stay with Marriott 3-10 days each year. I think its program is geared towards frequent business/leisure travelers who stay with them much more that I'm ever likely to. When I choose to add what points I have to get the pricing for a reservation, it quickly becomes apparent that doing so has nothing to do with me.
This isn't a problem, as the last period during which accumulated hostelry/airline points made much of a difference to me was back in the early 90s. I think it was around that time the airlines doubled the required mileage for a "free" domestic ticket from 25,000 miles to 50,000 miles. After that, I ignored my United Airlines Mileage Plus incomings. The upside I've experienced when traveling is that I feel free to stay wherever best meets my needs without regard to any program I may be a part of.

What the living hell are you gibbering about? You are literally being flagged as spam in multiple threads, not sure what else to say. In saying that it seems to have ended.
