What are you even talking about?! He points out the quad tailpipes as a positive thing - as something that you only used to get on a V8. The review demonstrates launch control for both ICE and electric, and he frequently compliments the sporty nature, acceleration, handling, steering, and suspension.

They didn’t give me an estimate on the delivery and my current status is 105 but I’ll give them a call to make sure everything’s on track

What colour did you get yours? And are you installing a wallbox before you receive the car?

Ahh did they not? It may be similar to my date which is estimated to be w/c 16/06/24 if that’s any help, I was status 111 as of Tuesday I picked Brooklyn Grey with Tech+ pack, you?
I have a Wallbox already (pod point) as we’ve already got an EV, one less thing to think about

I'm "exterior body assembly" as of today. Woo hoo! My original production date was 3.8.34, it's now 3.6.24

Scanned a few reviews and the concencus is some like the looks and some really don’t. Handling mostly sounds good though. Practically is obviously less than X1, ride sounds harsher than X1, and seating position is lower which would be a big no for me, lower than an X1, you may as well get an estate frankly. Also several sites in the UK suggest a £5k uplift over the X1, which sounds strange if true.

I created as close to the same spec as I could for both models and I think the ix2 was £500-£600 more than the ix1 in total, had to also keep in mind the m sport ix1 comes with 18” wheels, whereas the ix2 comes with 19’s. It was a hard choice in the end tbh

I've had my X1 since last year.

My 530i just went into production 2 days ago and a VIN# appeared. It automatically showed up in the BMW app and I didn't do anything at all.

I'm highjacking the thread for a sec...unless I missed a post somewhere, why, are you buying another vehicle when you supposedly don't drive the one you have now...so you can split the mileage between the 2 vehicles and only have 2.5k miles on the clock

no.. it's replacing an existing old sedan, which I drive daily(work and personal)... usually put on at least 17,000 miles a year... the old girl has been meticulously maintained, but age has finally caught up and an engine replacement is imminent.(having already put in a brand-new transmission and rear-diff a year ago) I don't actually try to drive less on the X1.. it's just that I can't really be seen driving up in the SAV or SUV to a business-related meeting. Also, my current employer, is extremely generous when it comes to travel... so I've been flying, instead of driving, even on short 100-mile trips(assuming there are flights that short).. and anything over 2-hour scheduled flight time, I get first class. But the downside is that I'm also not home a lot these days.

Last weekend drove by BMW dealership and stopped by to check X2. Wife fell in love immediately. We will probably order one in the summer. We will replace my current ‘06 330i that we picked in Munich. Now at 220,000 miles - time to say goodbye.
