Did you change wheels? I really wasn’t impressed with the rim options when I ordered my 2024.

I doubt I’ll drop the money to buy new wheels but I wish they had a good solid black wheel option.

I wish I had picked Cape York Green instead of Space Silver when I placed my order back in late 2022. I knew that I love the green, especially after seeing it in person during a glorious sunny afternoon in February 2023, just before my X1 went into production.(and changes were still possible) The sunlight really made the green sparkle, just like in your picture.

However, I ended up getting silver because most of my previous cars were silver.

Fast forward to two months ago, I decided that I wanted to replace my other car, a sedan, with a new BMW 530i. Unfortunately, BMW did not offer silver that's remotely close to Space Silver on the X1. They did offer Cape York Green on the new 530i. That was when I wished my X1 was Cape York Green... because then I would have two cars with identical colors. I ended up choosing black for the 530i, but that's another story.

It is really an interesting color, and it seems to change with light. In the garage in almost looks like a slate blue, but in the sun the true color shines

They are black - 871M, they are my winter wheel set up, as that was the only option available, supposedly.

Yea I swapped wheels 600 miles in, weather dropped so I didn’t want to chance riding on summer rubber with a newborn in the car

I wanted to get an all black option but there isn’t any to be had for this model

Damn those are pricey. I don’t want to deal with storing a full wheel set. What do you think the chance is that my dealer will swap the OEM for the black ones. 😂

I would say slim to none unfortunately. You'd be asking your dealer to eat a $2000 estimated value on parts alone cost.
