I set this up last night. Seems quite strange that I can now go to the shop without any keys or my wallet. I think I'll still take a back too for a while.

dont know whats changed (no change log)

How do you prompt a new software update, myBmw app indicates that my software is 03/2023.24 and is up to date....

surely BMW has a beta tester program? or do they simply write new software and push it out without having dozen or hundreds of drivers test out the beta version first?

since iOS 10, all of my iPhones have been running on iOS beta exclusively. (with the typical downfalls, of course)

Got in the car this morning and the software had been updated, checked the app and the warnings were there again, half hour later they had cleared again.

by the way, the first time I used iDrive8 in the X1, it felt almost like I was in the cockpit in Airplane (remember the scene with the ridiculously long instrument panel?)

Which is why in the case of an unlikely event such as this I still have my key card in my wallet. But in my case, I have my watch and that never leaves my wrist when I’m out.

Android guy, so do not know if Apple issue resolved with it or not. Start/ Stop in Personal mode is not fixed, the same behavior as it was, having lag.

I can't put my finger on it, but after the update the car feels like it drives just a little bit different in Personal Mode. Not better, not worse, but the throttle just feels.....different. Could just be in my head though, and I haven't been in enough stop and go traffic the past few days to really test it out.

The phone app says there's not update. Will I eventually get the 03/2323.45 update?

You will get it. You just have to wait. Updates are released slowly. I usually get it 2 weeks after there is information about a new version on this site

Are you saying with idrive 8 you also get point releases i.e going from 03/2023.35 to 03/2023.45?

With my idrive 7 car, the next one i would expect to get is 07/2023.xx and that wouldn't be until around November.

X1 sDrive20i M Sport (Poland)

11/2022.43 - end of January
11/2022.64 - end of March
(Probably) 03/2023.xx - by the end of May

I'll have a 2-month update cycle until the release of iDrive 8.5. Probably rarer after that. I have an X1 from early January, so I'm unlikely to get iDrive 8.5.

I have updated the car, but be warned my turned on the engine fans, first time for me to hear them and was a little concerned, they ran at full speed for around 15 minutes.

03/2023.50 updated at the dealers last week
