I was watching a Family Guy rerun the other day (one that I've watched many times before), and naturally figured this is a legitimate topic to start on the forums.

The only rule is that you must begin your rant with "You know what really grinds my gears?"

I'll start.

You know what really grinds my gears? When Ticketmaster charges this bullshit convenience charge whenever you buy tickets from them. Yesterday I tried to buy some tickets to a rock concert that would only cost $39 for two tickets. But, noo... Ticketmaster has to stick it's ugly big head into my business and charge me a $14 convenience charge. What convenience are they providing? The ability for me to sit here and use the internet to visit their website and click a few buttons to make a purchase? Are they providing me the unique ability to use my CC to pay for my purchase online? And who the hell comes up with these fees? It's more than 1/3 the price of the ticket itself! F U Ticketmaster, you lost one transaction last night.

You know what really grinds my gears? When high school kids walk around town thinking they own the fucking place. In the past couple of days, I've encountered 3 idiot groups that I should have ran over if it was legal. The first, was a bunch of idiots forming a horizontal line in the middle of the street. They didn't let any cars past them and even after beeping at them for what seemed like an eternity, they didn't budge. Solution? Put car in neutral and rev to 6k. The noise scared the shit out of them and they moved. Just yesterday, I was stuck at an intersection for 30 god damn seconds because some idiot kids wouldn't move out of the way and the driver in front of me was too stupid to move. Right after getting past those idiots, I find another group of idiots blocking the entrance to the post office parking lot! Fucking idiots were making out in the middle of the entrance. Again... Had to honk my horn and tell them to move. Fucking idiots.

What about those assholes that take up 2 spots? I was at a Best Buy the other day and the lot was full... I go all the way to the end to hopefully find a spot and some mini-van is parked right over the line taking up 2 spots. Assholes.

Slow drivers going at speed limit on the left lane. Fyi, the left lane is the passing lane. If you're not passing anyone, I would advise you to go on the right lane, the traveling lane.

That sucks... teens can be very stupid. Apparently the middle of intersections are good places to loiter these days.

Right now for me it is police. I know they have a tough job and I respect the majority of the force that do their job well and keep us safe bla bla bla...but over here the system is just fucked. Recently the force have had to make big cuts and even stop recruiting to cut costs.

However, the traffic police seem to have all the money they need. Fuck me, they run around in all sorts. They have X5, 5 series, 3 series, Range rovers, and so many other cars not to mention all the equipment they have. Already they have had enough of the E60 and I have seen the new F10 5 series make its way to the road. They even had the X5 facelift. They could easily go out and buy much cheaper cars that will perform well enough but they insist on going for the most expensive cars.

Dont even get me started on the stupid stuff they spend time doing. They act like dicks and give the good drivers out there a hard time.

Oh yeah and bad drivers, there's NO excuse. I have had so many near misses just because I stay alert that could have been quite bad. Most recently I was on the motorway (highway) ~70mph and some guy next to me wants to move into the fast lane that I'm in. He doesnt check mirrors and moves over even though he is right next to me. He was about 2 inches away from scraping right across the side of my car then realised his mistake thank god.
