Electronic dipstick..

How many segments are there? 4 or 5?

How many ml would each seg roughly represent? I guess if its 4 segs then each 250ml.

Btw the dealer said that bmw use a special dipstick and don't go by the electronic one. The tech confirmed this. I can't see any hole for one so wonder if there is a secret location for one.

Never ever heard of that and I'm a BMW tech.They can call up a test module that displays precise level though using ISID.No idea about the segments.
