What model is this?

spotted this disguised fella in SoMa in San Francisco and recognized the swirly camouflage from other BMW prototype spy shots.

it's sort of difficult to tell if it's even a bimmer, anyone has any idea what it is?

Those wheels scream Asian manufacturer to me. Definitely not a BMW, plus I don't think a BMW would be camoed up in Cali.

I agree its not a Bimmer it could be a Japanese counter part. Or may be Korean, the wheel design might came from Kia or Hyundai.

It's not a BMW. BMW doesn't use those black cloth covers. Neither does Audi or MB. But...

Opel/GM does test cars with those black cloth covers(& wrap). The wheels look very Cadillac-like to me. My guess is its a Opel product GM is testing in the states. I saw an Opel test SUV like this recently in Southern, Germany. Not sure what model it is. It is way bigger than any Opel currently on sale in Germany.
