vom Moskau zum Munchen... und zurück! 5 crazy Russians travel 3000+ miles to meet
from Moscow to Munich... and Back!
These five crazy Russians drove some 5,000 plus kms to go to a car show! Not any car show, but our BMW United 5.0 car show. Otherwise known at Welt 5.0 UPDATE: New cool video from our Russian friends...  United 5.0 aka Welt 5.0 car meet... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1000040 One of the five(Russians), lunohod (rus) asked me to put together this little photo thread of their travels from Moscow to Munich. I told him I thought many Bimmerpost.com guys would find it interesting! For the last five years every spring we hold a car show in front of the BMW Welt. The organizers of this car show are known at the Munich Stammtisch. We are basically a small group of BMW car lovers(1er's/2er's & 3er's). Each year the show gets bigger and bigger! Last year we held it in the BMW AG garage... bc we had too many cars to fit in front of the BMW Welt. This year we used a Metro(think Price Club or Sams)in a suburb of Munich. And... our Russian friends were the highlight of the show! But what really sets these car crazy guys apart for the rest... is that this was the first time they had gone on such a long journey with their mod'd cars. And the yellow 1M(nee 135i with a M3 v8 stuffed in it) also made the trek. This adventure would be like driving from the East coast to the West coast in the states(where no one speaks your language)... and then after the car show you drive up to Canada to drive on the Ring! That's pretty much what these guys did. Not only did they come to Munich, to see the BMW Welt & Museum. To see the Munich city sights, travel the Bavarian outback roads in Southern Germany. They also drove to Nurburgring. They drove the famous track there: Nordschleife - Nürburgring. Then they headed to Italy for some fun in the sun in Milan! These guys really experienced the best of Europe for the one week or so they were here. Anyways... I thought you guys would get a kick out of seeing the Russians on Tour.  My hats off to them. I(we, from United 5.0/Munich Stammtisch) were happy to have met with them and see their passion for the BMW marke. Our Russian friend's were truly inspirational!! Dackel Munich... Munich... Munich... Munich... Munich... Munich... Munich... Munich... Munich... Milan... Milan... Milan... Milan... Munich... Munich... Milan...
