MOTIV Motorsport/PTF Hardware release

Hey guys, we are thrilled to finally make public the hardware we have been designing and testing of the last ~18 months.

MOTIV Direct drop in LPFP system upgrade. This system will be 100% plug and play. Simply remove your old bucket, drop in the new one(using factory connectors)and run an 8AN line using the routing of the factory hose and you are done. This design will change a little before going into full production.

MOTIV PI fuel system. Makes use of Bosch fuel injectors being driven by the customers choice of options(AEM, proEFI etc.) In this configuration the fuel system can support upwards of 1000hp.

PTF twin disc clutch setup. We are proud to present a twin disc setup we have been working with SPEC to produce and manufacture. Offering a torque rating of +900ftlbs but better drivability than some of the other higher output rated single clutch designs currently available.

MOTIV single turbo Kit. This series of pictures shows the progression of the assembly of the manifold and final assembled product. You may be wondering why we went with a bottom mount short runner style manifold and the answer is this: it works the best. We went through designing and testing 7 manifold designs(some just small variations but others complete redesigns) over the course of over a year before finally selecting this design. The great thing about having a fully prepped and dedicated road course/time attack car is that we are able to simulate extended use and wear in a short amount of time. Using a top mount manifold design just simply never worked. Rather than the heat spooling the turbo and then evacuating it would simply radiate in the engine bay creating limp mode inducing oil temps in 2-3 laps and eventually causing valve cover gasket cracking/leaking and other soft part failure. Add to that the 500-600rpm delay in spool compared to using the same turbos in a bottom mount configuration it made the design choice easy.

It is a short runner style manifold but far from just run of the mill stuff. Using relatively large ID runners we are able to maintain flow at higher engine speeds but still have unmatched spool. Using 100% CNC billet material and the best fabrication skills available to finalize and assemble to components means a manifold design that will never crack, leak, warp or otherwise fail.

kits will be ready to ship 1st or 2nd week of November. 20 kits are being built in the first batch.

For those of you that would like to get their kit as soon as they start to ship, as of NOW, you can go to our website in the Turbo Kit section and place either a Pre-order purchase or a purchase for the full kit. This will allow you to reserve the spot and guarantee your kit ships right away.

Looking good boys! Definitely the best designed single kit out there right now. I love that small/simple form factor.

I'm guessing the lowest power level kit will suffice for the 6AT transmission? =)

Other than pricing I'd love to see some dyno's for all the options, overlayed against each other and against some of the twin scroll kits, Stage 2 stock frames to see how everything compares. Also weight savings on this kit vs stock frames and top mount kits.

Was there any testing or consideration on a twin scroll bottom mount?

How does the twin disc compare to the Stage 3+ on the street?

Even the 750 kit would be a great setup for a DD AT car. Of course, age and condition of the trans is a BIG factor here. If you have a really high mileage trans that may already be showing signs of wear then it will obviously not be very happy. However, if you have a healthy trans then you could do ~520whp-550whp on low boost and just regular old 93 octane pump gas and have a usable power band from 3Krpms all the way to redline.

The smallest 600 kit is probably going to be primarily used by road course guys looking for 500whp(pump gas, of course) worth of linear power that won't instantly blow the tires off and be more predictable/reliable than stock frame options.

Dyno graphs and similar comparisons are in the works. We are still getting stuff together. The space constraints make a TS bottom mount setup nearly impossible. The twin disc setup is easier to drive than the stage 3+ option but, like all twin discs, there is some noise. Nothing unbearable or prevent it's use in a DD but it is there.

Ill be waiting . . . Also the fuel rail setup Once the tuning comes into play with a secondary fueling system that will be amazing. Pump gas 93 octane and power all over the place.

So it will hold 400 more ft lbs of tq and be easier to drive? Not that the stg3+ is hard to drive at all but that is great news.

Any chance the manifold will be able to be bought alone, and not as a full kit?
