Gas gauge illumination

Just realized my gas gauge needle does not illuminate when lights are on. Anyone else?

Same here. You need to push the start button at least once to illuminate the gauge.

Dude, you owe me big time. I got up from my comfy spot on my upper patio, walked way down the hill, went in my office, grabbed my key, went out to the garage and did the test!

I'm retired. Or retarded. I can't remember which.

And I do like being close to my car, which I'm doing right this moment!

Sorry to disturb it actually does illuminate when the headlights are on and gauges light up orange but when extended dash illuminates in daylight so does the gas gauge but not the needle. Kind of pointless to have the gauge illuminate sans the needle.
