Brakes Upgrade to M Brakes, Covered under maint. plan?
i have a 2014 335i msport and want to put the m performance brakes on it.
since i have the extended maintenance plan, when the pads/rotors run out, will they be covered under my existing maintenance plan? i checked the terms and it doesn't exclude upgraded parts per se, but i want to check if anyone has experience... |

When I was last in the dealer, They cover just about everything besides wear & tear items. So they don't cover tires, brakes, nor gas. Last one was a joke.
In the service PDF I was hoping to see something regarding Pads or Rotors, but it only said this: Brakes & ABS: Master cylinder; brake booster assembly; wheel cylinders; brake calipers; hydraulic lines and fittings; brake pedal assembly; parking brake assembly. (ABS): hydraulic pump assembly; ABS control module; wheel speed sensors; relays. But it does depend on your SA, if you have a nice one, they can be very generous. |
