I would pick neither because they don't have numbers on the dial and the mechanical technology and quality isn't all that advanced. The Omega is totally old fashion and I've seen one person who wore it, and it was a man in his 80's. The Tag, not the best mechanicals in a watch and it seems like every single Swiss luxury watch wannabe has one.

I have worn an Omega Constellation every day for 13 years. The watch still performs and looks near new. I am biased but Omega is what will one day (?) replace this one. Flip a coin if all else fails. I usually do a best 2 out of 3.

I like my Tag. Of the two, I also like the bracelet better on the Tag

That's a tough one. If you're going to be using it everyday, I would say the Tag. It's more casual looking. For special occasions, just to work, the Omega, more formal.
I have a Tag and love it. You can't go wrong with either. |

Omega, its a much classier watch, and personally i find it looks very mature and busieness oriented. ill take a pic of my B&M later. its super sexy

I would pick the Omega but I'll wear it as a casual watch with long sleave shirt because the crystal isn't scratch resistant although it is shatter resistant - something NASA requested for space astronauts. The Tag looks very cheap and there seems like there are a lot of fake Tag wearers out there so it cheapens to brand image.
Tag has some of the worst bracelets in the entry level luxury watch segment. Yes, Tag is an entry level luxury watch company and it's not in the same level as Omega or Rolex. Tag automatics don't keep accurate timing too, they're probably the worst in the industry even on the higher end watches like their Link Automatics. If you're interested in Tag, I recommend a quartz Tag and not their automatics. FYI, the two best large watch companies are Rolex and Breitling. Omega isn't even up there, but you're planning to spend 1000, so Breitling is probably out of your price range. |

i have that exact same tag and love it. i was considering both the watches you are. after looking at and reading about them i went a looked at them and in my opinion the tag looks much better. it looks better in person and i dont think the omega looks as good in person(dont get me wrong i love it but i think the tag was better). but in the end both a great watches.

IDK, but they look the same to me... After rereading the post did I notice the subtle differences. LOL. I had a Tag for many years. Always worked. After 10+ years, it got beat up. Believe it or not, it also survived a COMPLETE house fire. Our whole house burned up, but inside the burnt up jewelry box were two tags still ticking... My wife's and mine. For that reason, I'd say Tag - but even that sapphire crystal face does scratch so be careful.

Sounds like you should sell your story as some type of commercial for Tag. -Nathan
