Can a slow leaking run flat be fixed?

So overnight my run flat tire seems to be losing about 8 PSI, it has a medium/slow leak.

Can it even be fixed or should I just plan to replace it?

Yes.. go to Discount Tire. They will do it for free. I've patched my RFs many times.

Depends on where the leak is. If it's in the meat/tread area then yes, otherwise probably not.

Depends. If its like a leaky valve stem, nail, leak from the bead etc. Can be fixed with a new valve stem, plug, bead seal etc. Personally I plugged my run flat on my F10 535xi it lasted 4K+ miles no problem (before selling it). However you should not repair it if the puncture is near the sidewall. You can take it to any tire shop and let them spray it with soapy water to determine where the leak is from then go from there.

Most big corporation tire companies will not repair run flats. I would imagine a small mom and pop company would do it.

Just a way for tire companies to sell tires saying they cannot repair run flats.

+1 to everyone. I caught a nut of some kind in my tread, but it was far enough from the sidewall that it wasn't a problem at all. A tire shop near me did a proper plug and patch and it's been fine for the last 10k miles.

And the worst part is that they'll upsell you to a full new set of 4 so that they're wear-matched. Fuck that noise.

Last time I tried to get a tire plugged. They took me under the car and was like we can't do it. Then when I was like let me research tires at home they wouldn't plug it so I could not leave.
