0-60 Time Improved
My previously best 0-60 time measured with the M Performance App was 4.5 seconds. That was achieved with aFe Intake, M Performance muffler, and BMS N55 Stage 1. Today I hit a new milestone with a best 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds. I'm running the aFe Scorcher module in place of the BMS module. Today the temps were in the low 70's with humidity at 53%; I run 93 octane gas as well.
I did a second run 2 minutes later and hit 4.4 seconds, so the car is definitely quicker than before. The car was feeling faster after the module change and now I can actually see it. All the 0-60 runs were done without launch control as I haven't venture to using that feature yet. |

Meaningless.
Go to a drag strip if you want to see how much faster your car is. A phone app timing the most useless acceleration statistic possible is purely for entertainment. |

I been using the BMW ///M Laptimer App since it came out. It works through your Connected Drive; I have it installed on my IPOD in the cradle adapter It records your runs on either track and street. I have recorded a couple times through some mountain passes, and you can play back with Google maps to see your complete ride. Really cool tool.
With the GoPro 4 coming out next month it will be even more fun to use the iDrive feature to do both telemetry recording and live video, controlled via your iDrive controller. |
