Warning for OC E9x owners...
If you drive on the 5, 405, or 55, the CHP is out in full force today.
I saw at least 6 people pulled over today just driving to the Best Buys in Tustin. I made sure to drive like an old woman and kept it under 70 the whole way. RFT are so quiet at that speed. |

Yeah man, I live about 5 minutes away by freeway. Work in Irvine, live in Orange, so I get on the 55 a lot. I never saw the CHP like this before.
I didn't see any Bimmers pulled over, but I saw some guy in a tinted G35 getting his $200 NYE present from a Crown Victoria. |

CHP get crazy around holidays... some Z06 was playing with his brand new car today when he was zooming by me... he waved and revved, then we both said naaah, aint worth it... well i was thinking it's not worth getting a ticken and endangering lives... he was probably thinking im not worth wasting gas on me

I think revving up once in a while is okay, but not during NYE, and not against a Z06 on the 55. You know two Bimmers, a 5 series, and a 3 series were racing in Hollywood. Killed a 26 year old father 2 days ago when they rammed into the back of his Infiniti, burned beyond recognition. It's sad when people don't drive with care for others. |

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I'll be taking the girlfriend's corolla up to LA today instead of my tinted e90

For me, on top of any speeding citation, I'd also get a tint violation, and a no-front plate. They'd probably find a way to get me for capped exhaust. |

LOL the CHP out in full force shouldn't be a surprise today since it's NY's Eve.
