Can't flash Need softwear update from bmw

Anyone ever here of this . I tried flashing to bms e85 the read went 100% but didnt Finish the read luckily my dme wasn't bricked but the tech said my softwear needed to be updated thru bmw before I can reflash has anyone ever heard of this thanks

Do I need the updated ijeos to flash properly

Update was finally able to flash my car. I did the update thru bmw then alex from tnt racewerks helped flash my car great guy very helpful
