Spacer question

Sorry to ask. I see there are quite a few threads on spacers, but could not find an answer for my car.

I have an E92 pre-lci M Sport and 19 M Double-spoke style 225M alloys.

What is max spacer I could use front and back to avoid any chance of rubbing?

Thanks in advance.

OK googled and found this: www.trakplus.com

Its not that straightforward however as different driving conditions/ number of passengers make it hard to know for sure.

As far as I can tell 15mm rear and 12mm front seem to be a safe option, but if anyone has experience and can confirm it would be much appreciated (hence why forums are better than google)

I have an E92 MSport. Standard suspension and 19 M Double-spoke style 225M wheels.

Thanks in advance!

Measure the gap between your wheel and arch, only real way of making sure it won't rub. Plenty of YouTube videos

You should be able to get away with 12mm all round without rubbing. I'm on standard m-sport suspension with 313s (same offset as 225s)

12mm front and back. Subtle, but noticeable. Very pleased.

Perhaps a stupid question, but when fitting spacers do you need longer wheel nuts??

Yes. Bolts must be longer than the originals by at least the thickness of the spacer

Ofcourse! +1

Also OP one size up on the tyres fill the gap for an aggressive look.
