So are we talking every model year of every M car ever...or what is the extent of his collection. Wouldn't be too far fetched to have a 1M, M3, M4, M5, M6, M6GC, X5M and X6M.....

I am no rocket scientist or anything, but I would assume the statement "every M car ever produced" would include all of those more current M models you listed, as well as every other car BMW has produced as an official ///M car (and I would suspect a few non-M's as well).

Think larger. Masakuni Hosobuchi has been quoted in the German press saying he owns a lot of BMW's. He says he told his wife he has about twenty cars in his collection, but he admits to owning more. Much more. As much as three times as many! He says his thirteen year old daughter has seen them all. His wife's daily driver is an e36 320i. Mr Hosobuchi most often takes his M7, built by BMW Individual. It's powered by a v12, complete with M5 fender side grills and Individual interior. He also often takes his chauffeured 740Li Individual. On the weekend he only drives his M models. One of his favorites is his M1. Hence the M1 pro car ED at the Welt.
