question about meth
This might sound like a stupid question to some of you.. Be nice, novice here. Do i "NEED" a bov to run a meth setup? What are the advantages per say?
Im currently at 17psi fbo, will be getting the hsf4.. Any precautions i should take before installation? Any input or help would be awesome.. Thanks! |

Well you'll need at least an upgraded chargepipe to utilize meth bungs. Aside from that, you can run Forge DV's, or even the stock ones for that matter.
VRSF is the cheapest option for either BOV, or DV setup. But the ER CP's are on black friday sale in the vendor section!

You don't need anything aftermarket besides a place for meth bungs (BMS sells an elbow you could install between the FMIC up pipe & CP) and a meth controller. No guarantees, but running that much boost it's possible that you'll need upgraded DVs/BOV if they start to leak from the increased boost.
Would recommend if you're running that much boost you ditch the cats and avoid burning out the turbos.
