No fender liners bit worried

Hey guys I installed a replica m3 bumper cover on my 335i (e90) and I had to take off the fender liner on the drivers side it would not sit properly and I ended up damaging it. the passenger side is fine it's still on there.. I'm a bit worried now because in California it's raining allot and was worried that water would get in my headlight and get sucked into my engine I have dci.. Do you guys think I'm fine or do I have something to worry about..
