We are fortunate to have a lot of great options for our platform and this intercooler is one of them.
I do not have the technical background to explain the differences between all of the intercoolers available. I do know the face of the ATM stepped core is not two pieces, which is different than other stepped cores being offered. My stock turbo is maxed out on e40 and so far my IATs look solid. The ATM intercooler is definitely a solid choice and In my opinion has always been one of the best intercoolers on the market; and now at a great price.
