little help

I was going to download the bmwhat app, but can find what adapter to use. I did a seach here but couldn't find it. What is everyone using?

I got mine on Amazon, I did a quick search on found mine.

I believe most people use the elm 327 that can be found on amazon? As for myself, I have an android phone so I use an otg cable and a d+kcan cable.
