Auto-leveling headlight problem "9CB7"
Guys, I need your help. I got problems getting the self leveling of my Xenon light working. Originally my 2008 335xi had adaptive xenon headlights (ALC), but after an front accident I decided to buy standard Xenon headlights for a very good price without ALC, which I not really need. So far so good, I replaced the control module from the old lights to the new lights (old and new had the same part no.), I have removed VO $524 (also programmed NFRM and CAS with empty .MAN file), but no luck, the self leveling is not working.
I have checked the both load level sensors (sensor axis front and rear) via INPA, they are ok. Also checked the ball of the stepper motors, both are sitting in place. The only thing that I can see is an error in FRM "9CB7" (Headlight vertical aim control driver fault). I seems to be the driver side light, but all light functions are working, expect the self leveling, this is really frustrating me. I don`t think that the FRM module is damaged. Via Tool32 I have opened the function "status_lwr_lesen and got following results: STAT_KEINE_LWR=0 STAT_DYN_LWR =1 STAT_AUT_LWR =0 STAT_MAN_LWR =0 JOB_STATUS =OKAY Does anybody has an idea what to do? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you very much for your help. |

Sean,
my lights look like this: http://www.flickriver.com/photos/yoshina/158658062/ My new lights are euro spec lights and the old one are us spec. Does that makes any difference in coding? Thanks |
