n54 fitment

Hi
so I'm looking to buy a new (used) engine for my 335xi
i found one thats from a 535i
Would the 535i n54 have any fitment problems
or does that fact my car is awd effect any fitment at all?

You'll be fine as long as it's a n54 and you use your original wiring harness. Youll have to swap a few things over like DP's, oil pan and possibly a few other things to make it compatible with Xi

What's wrong that you need a new engine? Blown head? Couldn't you just swap the head?
