BimmerPost App Notifications
Just started using the app on my iPhone 6 Plus. Works great and makes browsing and reading much easier.
When I go to settings, Push Notifications shows "INACTIVE" and no way to activate. When I check in iOS settings, BimmerPost doesn't show up as an app I can control notifications for. Anyone seen this? Any ideas of how to resolve? (I know I'm logged in because I'm posting this from the app...) |

I have the exact same issue. What's weird is one of my friends has the exact same phone, same iOS and shows 'ACTIVE' within the apps settings. I've also noticed, if you look at bimmerpost app in the phone's 'notifications' settings, it's not listed at all. I've searched high and low for an answer, but haven't found anything of use.

We've updated the way notifications work in the latest version (which is just pending approval from apple). I'm hopeful it will fix your issue
Just try one thing. When the new version is available, please first delete the app and wait 48 hours before installing the new one. This is how long apple suggests to cycle your phone out of their system.

Thanks. I'll give that a try and let you know. But are there meds for withdrawal from not being able to check the forums easily from my phone for those 48 hours?
