RDS works with one key but not the other?
I was updated with the 19.whatever CIP in December and now RDS works great, first car I've had with this feature and I really like it, especially with the All Stations display.
However, it only works with my key, my wife isn't getting it with her. I didn't bring her key in when I got the software updated, would that be a reason, or is there just something I'm missing that needs turning on? This is with iDrive. -Tim |

you have to turn the RDS on with your wifes key. pretty simple just push down on the knob when you are in the radio screen and you should see an RDS option, make sure the box is checked.
hope that helps

Radio Data System - tells you the name of the station you are listening too.
As ususal BMW makes a big deal (and a mess) something that has been around for years in cheaper cars. |
