In-house built 9 speed DCT, bespoke all new 75° V6 twin-turbo, +550 PS
My favourite sports cars are Japanese: LFA and NSX. NSX over AMG GT, 911, R8 and Huracan any day. The i8 is not even worth it. Blows the competition out of the water. |

looks cool. i'm pretty excited to see this thing and all the numbers it produces.
i have to admit that this one pic... that giant chunk of gray plastic in the middle really turns me off. maybe if it's done in piano black or carbon fiber it'll look better. i guess that's a minor complaint though.

NSX - NAIAS Reveal
The new NSX looks great. This will obviously be a seriously high performance vehicle. With it's hybrid set up it reminds me of the direction the current supercars are going (918, P1, La Ferrari), but I think it will undercut their price levels by a fair margin.

Hope the statement that they aren't releasing output/curb weight etc due to possible "misunderstanding" doesn't mean that it's heavy as fuck.

That front end is fugly! That whole design language with the "bird beak" look has and is a huge turn off for me. Ford GT all day every day. Or even Audi R8.

I like my M4, but the new GT350 and Gt350 R, NSX, and Ford GT seem to be every bit if not more interesting in terms of technology and capability. Granted, some of these are in a different price brackets, but the S55 powertrain/engine doesn't sound as exotic or interesting in comparison to these vehicles IMHO.

Rumor has it around 3400-3600 LB, so not too heavy for 550+ HP.

Tough one.
GT: PROS: -Doesn't have a front end that looks like shit. -More storied heritage than the NSX dating back to the Ford GT days. CONS: -Will it even look like this when it makes it into production or will some of the bits change? -Will it even start without thinking it's stolen? NSX: PROS: -Probably better mileage and more comfortable to drive than the GT. The original NSX was known for its fun, performance, and being one of the first supercars you could actually drive everyday. -The electric motors will be there to provide instant torque. CONS: -Does have a front end that looks like shit. -Catches fire. |

I am pretty sure they will have the fire issue sorted by sell date. They re-designed the cooling openings (and added more cooling to the vehicle, 11 cooling systems total) in response to the problem. |

That'd be fine! Wonder why the info is being withheld then.
