Buying genuine MP rear spoiler and MP parts separately

Hi guys, on my previous post i had a few people curious as to why they couldn't buy the MP rear spoiler from the BMW Dealers separately... I purchased my car without any of the MP parts on it other than the stock 235i parts it comes with. I managed to go to a BMW dealer yesterday (Stratton Chesterfield) and pay cash for the MP CF rear spoiler, and the MP side skirts. Both of which they had in stock. They gave me a 20% discount too, so i only paid £464.00, and they included a tube of their own BMW adhesive which they use too so i could fit them rather than paying £80 labour.

I fitted them yesterday with no problems and is just proof to you guys that you can buy the parts individually from the dealer which many of you thought you can't. Most people have said you can only buy the rear spoiler if you buy the front splitter, i've not bought the front splitter yet, however that and some nice alloys is next on my list!

I've never heard anyone say you can't buy M Perf parts separately from a dealer. I got my car in April '14 and bought all my M perf stuff from a dealer.

By the way, did you vinyl wrap the front side sections of the bumper?

Just on my previous thread people were saying they couldn't by the spoiler separately and were being forced to by the front splitter with it...

Yes the roof, mirrors, grills, front side sections are all wrapped... as are the rear lights and reflectors!

You had someone wrap the grills!?! Jesus that seems like a labor intensive project to make it look right.

Is this why I couldn't order the spoiler with the car?

When ordering the car at my dealer, they have a page to build the car unlike that of bmwusa. There's an "other additions" or similar category where you can add things like the splitters and stuff and only the front splitter was available, there was no rear splitter to select, even when the front was. So if I ordered the front splitter.. does that mean the rear is automatically added on even though there was nothing that said so?

Basically, the rear spoiler was 100% missing from the order sheet..
