Paint touch-up advice

I just bought a 2012 Jet Black z4. Absolutely love it - seriously the best car I've ever driven. However, I just noticed a few chips on the front of the car.

Seems like lots of people swear by Dr. Colorchip. Others seem to like the pens from Bimmertools. Ironically enough, it doesn't seem like many people are crazy about the paint you get from the dealer. Is that really the worst option?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use Dr.Colorchip. Nothing special about it. Dab on, wipe off. Works well just don't expect miracles.
