recommended fluid service at 55k miles? 09 335i?
I'd like to service the fluids on my 09 335i auto, what are the recommended brands and quantities for the following fluids? Is this necessary and if so which are important?
Just shooting from the hip - brake fluid, tranny, diff, motor, power steering? Are these necessary? |

If you believe in old school maintenance
If you believe in old school maintenance
Google Mike Miller BMW for the old school maintenance schedule he has fluids listed. Might as well use the BMW oil you have to Use BMW transfer box fluid if you have a xi Redlineoil Fluids are good they have an app at there website that tells you what they have that subs Power steering fluid is different use whats recommended on the reservoir. Might be early for that though. You will need a pump for differentials as there is only a fill hole. DIY's listed on the DIY subforum here and a lot on ytube. http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16 Also there are many threads on this already . |

Don't forget to change the water pump and T-stat at 60k. Don't delay this, trust me. Mine blew up 2 hours from home at 75k, with the replacement part sitting on my workbench.

Had the intake walnut blasted 1k miles ago - super happy with the results. Realistically could have held off for another 15-20k miles (my car was previous CPO and untuned).
