Just Sayin Hello (New To Forum)

Hey guys (and gals),

Just wanted to send a hello to everyone since I am new to the forum. Not new to forums in general but new to BMW in general as I just purchased my first.

06 Silver 330XI, Manual tranny and winter package, no nav, one owner, highway car. Fell in love the second I test drove it. I know each brand has their little "things" that can drive a new owner crazy and I also know these forums are the best at getting help with MODs. I am a former street bike junkie and "fireblades.org" was my forum family and those guys saved my butt a few times.

Mods already include a full set of rims and tires, I think I posted a photo of them in my album. 19" et 35 8.5 in the front and 19" et 30 with 9.5 in the rear. Wasnt a fan of the wood grain so I 3M 1080 vinyl brushed aluminum wrapped my interior. Just bought a set of KW Variant 1 coilovers from TurnerMotorSports in Mass. I Will be installing those in the next couple weeks, then its on to exhaust etc. My BMW has 140K on her so Im not trying to do anything to major or "life shortening" to her.

If I can help anyone in anyway lemme know. Especially with tth the lowering coilover job Ill try to take lots of photo and post progress with stance, issues etc. I know clearance is already going to be a bit of an issue (see post is suspension) so any help would be great.

Thanks,
Tim

I could be wrong, but Welcome! We all hope you enjoy your BMW experience. And we are here to help!

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Welcome, I am sure as soon as I get to FBO I will be hitting you up for suspension questions.

Relative newbie here too, this forum has been invaluable to me.
