V1 hardwire for e93

I followed the below instructions; however the the V1 didn't power on. Later, I realized that the instructions specify the wire being green & yellow; there is no such colored wire in my bunch - the closest is blue'ish and yellow (and also blue and white). so I chose the blue and yellow. Considering that these instructions are for the '07 e93 and mine is an '08 e93 there could be an electrical wiring change. Also, my car doesn't have ZPP (non glare rear view mirror which might need that green power cable).

Has anyone sucessfully hardwired their V1 on an 08 e93 - anyone with knowledge of e93 wiring layout or can help?!!!

I'm curious myself. Plus, anyone know off-hand the CA laws on radar detectors before I go a searchin?

I didn't go through the sunroof area. I went through the fusebox, running a wire along the A-pillar. I used a mini-fuse tap and plugged into the PDC fuse. There's a DIY with pictures on this so do a search for it.

From everything I have heard, CA law only restricts the use of radar JAMMERS, not detectors.

+1; detectors are legal. However, mounting something (nav, radar detector) on the windshield that blocks drivers view is prohibited in CA
